 SLIM series including FD VFD – Specified based on equipment manufacturers instructions (project engineers, consultants, contractors, integrators, drive specialists, etc.)

NFPA 79 2021 edition Ch. 4, paragraph 4.4.2.8 changes

 Removal of specific cable markings (RHH, RHW, RHW-2, XHH, XHHW or XHHW-2)

 Instead, cable and conductors selection to be in accordance with:

 Equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and instructions

 Chapter 12 – Conductors, Cables and Flexible Cords

LAPP is an active NFPA member. In recent committee meetings, LAPP served an instrumental role leading to the above clarification and changes to the section 4.4.2.8
